International global worldwide hello

We had a proud moment last week here in Seattle as a delegation of about 30 Japanese business executives descended upon Creature to learn about how we solve business problems with our creativity. I have to say, as a fan of Japanese culture, brands and business acumen, I was humbled to have these young executives come and ask us how we do what we do. The delegation consisted of people who run E-commerce companies. And was led by a translator who turned our words into much more important sounding sentences.

Without question the coolest moment was discovering that the guy wearing the full orange suit, belt and shoes had a company that sold oranges online. Genius.

They brought with them lots of questions and a few clichés that made the session feel a lot like a movie and made me happy that the world is filled with such fantastic and distinctive cultures.

For everyone who helped answer questions and represent Creature so diplomatically, thank you. They were impressed and it served as a testament that what we are doing collectively here gets noticed by the world and in some cases even admired. Which is nice to think about after all the hours we put in. Let’s absorb a bit of their culture and humbly, and oddly create more success.
